A Flashback

CO was flipping boring today ,
(CO - chinese orchestra,yes i'm part of this pittiful excuse for a music group,long story involving my primary school principal,two overweight goblins and a pot of gold,but thats a different story)anyway,it left me alone with my thoughts and i had time to ponder or something. When i was watching the Portugal-Turkey match last week, i was thinking about the previous Euro Cup where Portugal came in second to Greese, and a fleeting image came to my mind.

It was back in primary 4,day after the Euro Finals. Everybody was discussing the match , the main subject was that how could Portugal have lost to Greese. My english teacher hoever,was going on like this, "Portugal have gotten so far! Why are you not saying they did very well on their own homeground!Can anyone explain?"

I think at the time i was too busy winning at hangman too bother answering the question,but for the past few days for reasons unknown to me i've been dwelling on that question and i doubt i can get back to my usual thoughts of world domination unless i get it off my chest and answer the damn question.

Lets compare this to something easier to understand, a race between cars. 30 laps,16 cars have been racing in the final lap out of all the cars there are only two cars left, a Lamborghini Diablo and a Nissan Skyline GT-R . Both are great sportcars but in comparison a Lambo wins handsdown, but somehow the Skyline wins in a homeground full of Lambo fans. Now the main subject is how could the Lambo have lost, not that the Lambo has gotten so far . Now i think its kind of obvious which is Portugal and which is Greece isn't it? Four years and i finally got that off my chest , god now i can focus on getting back at those Goblins
