~AZH out~
for now and always
This week has been one loooong one, and with way too much going on. Lets start on Tuesday shall we. It was eve of Hari Raya and all the muslims could go home early, awesome!
But there was going to be a geog mock test after school, not awesome!
That meant that we were allowed to go home but had to comeback at 2 for the mock test, so i spent my entire morning being all moody and feeling damn sian.
And then the miracle marvellous rare came, in the form of Mr Ron Tan.
Well i was actually looking for Ms Raksha, but she wasn't at the staff room so yeah..
Anyway i went with Ismail cand the conversation went something like this.
Mr Ron Tan came out of staffroom.
MRT:Dameer?
Z:........
Ismail:Mr tan, do the muslims students have to comeback for the test later?
MRT:oh.No
Z(WHOOOOOOOOOOOO!)
(in my head of course)
MRT:Ms raksha will pass it to you on thurs.....
Awesome, so i reached home around eleven plus and that was when i realised i hadn't started on my art sculpture.
So i just started cutting and randomly pasting cardboard and lining it with masking tape, yet somehow it turned out rather nicely....
Yeah, i took a picture and yes i am full of myself. Anyway it also was the last day of puasa and so there was like this family at my house, was quite fun i guess. And my brother invited his old friend from VS this ang moh guy who had recently converted to Islam, the dude stands at 192.Tall much.Wednsday
Day started out very earrly with the annual prayers that takes place every hari raya.See in Islam there are two type of prayers, one is called wajib and the other sunat. Wajib means that it is compulsory, this refers to the prayers were supposed to do 5 times a day(take note of supposed) while sunat is up to you whether you do or not. The thing is the prayers on hari raya is sunat and ironically thats the prayers that nearly every singaporean does.
Hmmmm
So it was back to my hse, and since my grandparents live with us now, and they're the oldest in both their families, its tradition that everyone comes to our hse to see them. Damn, i have a whole lot of relatives. Some i don't even know im related to.....alot of them are also complete weirdos....
Lets see the few i can remember...
this guy, i think he might be my second cousin or something, majorly tall and also looked majorly aenorexic , he was weearing this bright white baju kurong which made him look like a plank of newly painted wood that fell of a picket fence...and lets just say he wasn't exactly the most macho guy around.Anyway his sister (i think) got an sms and her ringtone was some hari raya song, the dude started dancing to it.
With much difficulty, i kept a straight face......Ahh who am i kidding i was like literally LOL.
Next was my aunt with the seven children who all had a habbit of asking much inquisitive questions.
Then came this granduncle who for some reason had blonde and red hair.
0.o
Then the worst was when a convoy of 3 cars came at one time.Sweet child of mine that sucked!
Ahh a few oddballs here and there and we finally managed to leave home to go to my paternal granddads hse. Something spooky happened over there, but i'd rather not say through this medium so ask me in person.
Next my we went my rich granduncles house and picked up quite abit of moolah over there.
And by that time it was already 12+ so we decided to call it a day and head back home, seeing as there was school the very next day.
Oh joy.
Thursday
So it was back to school and everyone was "selamat hari raya" here and "selamat hari raya" there and the canteen caretaker Uncle Foo came up to me and was all "Kumar!selamat hari maya!, uncle say correct not?"
Firstly, yes he thinks my name is Kumar...and i don't know why. And everytime i try to correct him it goes somewhat like this
z:Uncle, zameer.
Uncle:Za..zam?Zam?KUMAR?
Z:..........yeah, sure kumar....
Then came art and we were handing in the sculpture . I actually felt good about my work which has certainly never happened during art before.Yet Mr Spursfan just had to find a way to get at me.
He came and looked at my sculpture....
(Nods head)
MS:hmm, quite nice. Artistic painting ah.....eh but what is this suppose to be?I think its the stadium of Hull city, the team that beat Arsenal right.......
(how he knew i was an arsenal fan eludes me)
though my gunners keychain is somewhat of a giveaway.
He then moved on to Vincents sculpture.
MS:Nice, looks like Emirates Stadium, the "so called" best stadium in London(glances at me)
..............
We'll just see what happens next week then Spurssssss.
Then, nothing much i guess.
Friday
Today only one thing that happened that i'd like to talk about. Well for people who know whats going on try to keep up, for everyone who doesn't, well frankly i don't really bother.
Anyway, for obvious purposes lets say im writing a play, a fictional one.
"Once Upon a time, there was a group of students sitting in a circle .Some of them were talking loudly though the three at the very front were not and intstead watching the play. Yet the monkey who was put in charge punished the whole lot by giving them a summary to do.
The first person said that he was not talking and the monkey took back his summary. The second one did the same, and got the same response. When the third one said so, the monkey looked at him, turned and walked off. The person called after her but there was no reply, and he was completely ignored. Angered and annoyed the person left the room without taking the summary and the monkeyquestioned him about this. It went like this.
*Wait, i should give the characters names...mmm well from the top of my head the first names i can randomly think off is Nespien Peo and Supreme Awesome Overlord of The Universe AKA Jimmy Billy Bob.*
NP:How dare you not take your punishment and leave it there!! You deserve it and you know it.
JBB:No i don't .I wasn't talking at all.
NP:Yes you were! And you have the oddesity to deny it!
JBB:I do deny it because its true. Can i ask who was i talking to?
NP:*** !!!I saw you!
JBB:***???I was talking to ***?You took back his summary which means you know he wasn't talking and now your saying he was ?
NP:Anyway !Never in all my years have i seen anyone behave like that!
JBB:Like what?Youre the one who is wrong.
NP:Wow, you're really lying through your teeth aren't you.
JBB:haha, im not. I'll gladly do this summary if thats what you want but i can safely swear that i wasn't talking.
NP:You want me to give you the benefit of the doubt?Im dissappointted.
JBB:As am i
NP:YOU INSOLENT!UNGENTLEMEN!PROCRASTINATER.
JJB:Can i go now?
NP:NO!!!You re saying something, then saying another. Youre conflicting yourself! Making a fool of yourself!!
JJB:Im the fool?
NP:Yes you!im not the fool!!!!!!!
JJB:Sry you meant contradicting i think not conflicting.
NP:Don't you have the oddesity correct me!!!!!
JJB:But youre wrong both times. Why should'nt i? Firstly bout me talking the second one about conflicting.
NP:.............................................................
You know you actually have alot of potential, i think you'll be able to do very wel-
JBB:Yeah yeah i get it. Can i go now?
NP:BE QUIET!!!DID I SAY YOU COULD!?
JBB:that was why i asked.
NP:But your body language tells me your being condesending, your doing one thing then saying another!!!!
JBB:oh!So im CONFLICTING myself?
NP:You really have no manners do you at all do you?Are you this rude to everyone?
JJB:Just people who wrongly accuse me.
NP:Im going to take this up to a higher authority, have them call me.now GO.
Jimmy walked out of the room feeling extremely pissed off and was radiating waves of hatred so strong that it was strange that Nespien could not feel them burning her.But jimmy did understand that fire could not hurt the devil.
~ENDEX~
How did you like my script? Want to know what happens next...i should be posting the next scene some time soon.
Anyway , the EOYs start on Mon with Geog & English first. So i'm going to be pulling a couple of all-nighters and well....all dayers this weekend.
Doubt i'll be blogging for a few days, so
~AZH out~
(In the play above, any relation to anyone dead or alive is strictly coincidental and very much unfortunate, if you find yourself offended by the above text and think it somehow refers to you, i strongly encourage you to jump off a bridge.
A good swim always cheers me up i mean)
Man this is a long post.

One Tree Hill
Season 6 Episode 5
You've dug your own grave, now lie in it
To all muslims:
Selamat Hari Raya!
To all non-muslims:
Hell, you don't get anything....
(i never got a christmast present)
....
Yeahs, so many things to write about....
Yet for some reason i don't feel like.
Better luck next time yeah?
~AZH out~
Im talking bout the hit show of course, lasting 10 seasons and is still voted the best show to ever be on telivision, but has anyone ever wondered.
What happened to the 6 stars after the show?
Well i've recently found this page and heres what i found out.
#6. Matt LeBlanc
On Screen:
You would think that Matt LeBlanc was The One With the Most Potential,
because after all, it is LeBlanc that was gifted a Friends spin-off by NBC;
a should-be success with a built-in fanbase of millions.
Too bad that Joey was pretty much unwatchable, even for the most die-hard of Friends fans (I gave it about 5 episodes before determining it to be a lost cause). Somehow though, Joey survived 2 seasons and 47 episodes.
And since Joey? Check out Matt LeBlanc's IMDb credits. Holy crap! Matt LeBlanc has not even starred in any C-rate TV movies. Joey is LeBlanc's sole post-Friends credit (though he is supposedly working "behind the camera" now).
Off Screen:
LeBlanc got a deivorce from his wife after he cheated on her with his Joey co-star. He is also currently being sued by his former manager, though according to LeBlanc, she's crazy.
#5. Matthew Perry:
On Screen
Perry's main credit since Friends was the short-lived Aaron Sorkin vehicle Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip. Studio 60 was supposed to be the next big thing, but it fizzled and died after just a single season. At least Perry received generally positive feedback for his performance.
The problem with Perry is that besides Studio 60 he hasn't done very much; a TV movie here (The Ron Clark Story) and a movie you've never heard of there (Numb, Birds of America). While Perry has received positive reviews for all of these films, I just don't feel that any of them can be considered that big post-Friends breakthrough.
Perry will also be playing an older version of Zac Efron in next year's Seventeen Again. Minus points for that decision.
Perry's best chance for post-Friends success might be "The End of Steve", a new series for Showtime in which he will be starring and producing.
Off Screen
There's very little off-screen news for Perry and in his case, no news is probably good news since he previously suffered from various drug and alcohol addictions during his Friends tenure (and Chandler's weight see-sawed accordingly whether Perry was on or off of the sauce).
Perry may or may not be dating his former girlfriend Lauren Graham, of Gilmore Girls.
#4. Lisa Kudrow:
On Screen
Like Matthew Perry before her, Kudrow also has a short-lived TV show post-Friends, The Comeback, which aired for 13 episodes on HBO (that's 34 fewer than LeBlanc's Joey). Thirteen episodes is not that many, but in Kudrow's defense, The Comeback was actually pretty funny. It was just offbeat and misunderstood. Kudrow did however receive a much deserved Emmy nomination for her work.
Besides The Comeback, Kudrow has appeared in a few movies (check out her credits), including Happy Endings (2005) and Kabluey (2007). Kudrow also appeared in the recent chick-flick P.S. I Love You, and has about 5 other projects in the works.
Why'd she rank above Perry? Both have failed single-season TV shows and 2 indie movies that nobody has seen (with well received performances), but Kudrow gets the edge since she appeared in a movie that some people actually saw in movie theaters (P.S. I Love You), albeit a mediocre one. Kudrow also co-created and produced "The Comeback", which accounts for some bonus points as well.
Off Screen
Like Leblanc, Kudrow is being sued by her former manager. Besides a lawsuit (and who really cares), Kudrow's off-screen life is pretty quiet. She's been married for 13 years, which is like an eternity in Hollywood, so she definitely gets some bonus points there. Kudrow is also the Friend that spilled the beans about 2 years ago that a male friend was preventing the making of a Friends reunion show. She then denied that a reunion was even in the works (and no, there's still no movie...).
#3. David Schwimmer
On Screen:
Like Lisa Kudrow and Matthew Perry before him, David Schwimmer seems to fancy himself an indie darling now, and has starred in a few of them post-Friends, including Duane Hopwood (2005) and Big Nothing (2006).
Schwimmer has also done some voice work in 2005's Madagascar as well as its upcoming sequel, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. Lets also not forget his hilarious guest appearance as Greenzo during last season of 30 Rock.
However, these credits alone would certainly not merit a #3 ranking for Schwimmer. Heck, he doesn't even have a failed TV show like Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry or Lisa Kudrow. The reason why Schwimmer is #3 is this:
Off Screen
Two words: Stage work (the best resume padding an actor could ask for).
Not only has Schwimmer starred in a West End play and a Broadway show, but he is also the cofounder of Chicago's Lookingglass Theatre Company, for which he has acted in and directed many productions. Now, who knows how good Schwimmer was in any of these productions, but all of this stage work just sounds so...legit!
Off screen, Schwimmer has also moved into directing - first "Run Fat Boy Run" in 2007 and now "Little Britain USA" for HBO.
Finally, it seems as though Schwimmer himself has asserted that he has moved past Friends, as he has stated that he would not play the character of "Ross" again. Some of you might hate him for this, but I praise him for attempting to move on with his career.
#2. Courteney Cox (Arquette)
On Screen:
3 out of our 6 Friends have a failed TV show that aired after the conclusion of Friends. Courteney Cox, however, can have the distinction of calling her post-Friends show short-lived (which is one step above failed). This is because Cox's TV show - Dirt - survived to see a second season. Sadly though, that second season only saw 7 episodes before it too was canceled. Call it a curse, I guess. The show did have some of the more inventive promo posters that I had ever seen though...
Beyond Dirt, Cox Arquette has done some voicework (Barnyard), indies (November and The Tripper, the latter written/directed by her husband, David Arquette), made a cameo in The Longest Yard and starred in something we'd all probably like to forget was ever made, Zoom (garnering a whopping 2% rating on Rotten Tomatoes).
She also has a slated 3-episode guest stint on next season of Scrubs. Did you know that Cox Arquette was Marc Cherry's original choice for the role of Susan Meyer on Desperate Housewives, but had to turn it down because she was pregnant?
Off-Screen
Cox Arquette has also dived into the producing angle of TV/movies, frequently collaborating with her husband, David Arquette. The two have been married since 1999 (one of the only 2 successful Friends marriages).
Cox remains friends with "Friend" Jennifer Aniston and even does things like raise money for charity with her.
She also gave birth to a daughter almost right around the time that Friends ended, and in perhaps her worst post-Friends decision to date, named her Coco.
#1
Jenifer Aniston.
On Screen.
Anistons success actually began during the shooting of friends, when she gained considerable critical acclaim for her performances in The Object of My Affection (1998), a comedy drama about a girl who falls for a gay man,
and in the low-budget 2002 film, The Good Girl, directed by Miguel Arteta, playing an unglamorous cashier in a small town. The latter film opened in relatively few theaters - under 700 in total - taking $14M in the U.S. box office.
In late 2005, Aniston headlined two major studio films, Derailed and Rumor Has It, both of which performed fairly at the box office, grossing over $36 million each despite little support from critics.
In 2006, Aniston appeared in the low-budget drama, Friends with Money, which was first shown at the Cannes Film Festival, received a limited release, and grossed over $13 million.
Aniston's next film, The Break-Up, which was released on June 2, grossed approximately $39.17 million during its opening weekend, despite lukewarm reviews. It has currently grossed over $118 million at the U.S. box office and over $203 million worldwide.
I
n 2007, Aniston guest starred in an episode of Courteney Cox Arquette's series Dirt. Aniston played Arquette's snobby rival Tina Harrod.
Forbes listed Aniston as the 10th richest woman in the entertainment industry for the year 2007. She is behind such powerhouses as Oprah Winfrey, J. K. Rowling, Madonna, Celine Dion and Jennifer Lopez and is ahead of Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and the Olsen twins.
Aniston's net worth is approximately $110 million. Aniston was also included in the annual Star Salary Top 10 of trade magazine The Hollywood Reporter for 2006. According to Forbes in October 2007, Aniston was the top-selling celebrity face of the entertainment industry.
Off Screen:
Aniston has also directed a hospital emergency room-set short film named Room 10, starring Robin Wright Penn and Kris Kristofferson; Aniston has noted that she was inspired to direct by actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who directed a short film in 2006.
Well there you go, the afterlife of Friends.

You know the one thing they all have in common?Lately i find all of them have been in one way or another addicted to I'm Yours by Jason Mraz. I should be included in that list as well i guess, cause MR A-Z is wayy awesome.
Anyway lets see how did today go?
Well it started with Bio revision with Ms Ho. Who turned out to be majorly pissed that the class didn't do the worksheet we were meant to yesterday, i had a feeling that if i wasn't absent yesterday, i would somehow be blamed for it. I don't know why but things like this always find a way back to me and well most of the times they usually are my fault, but that's a different story.
Anyway she was scolding Gareth cause she told him to get the worksheets , and dear Ms Ho does have this tendency to over pronounce her words so from where i was it looked and sounded a little like this.
Ms Ho: Gareth Ng! Why did you not follow my instructions!?Were they not clearly instructed?!
Gareth:(smirks) We tried to find you everywhere.
Ms Ho:Wipe that smirk of your face!I am not amused!
Gareth:SMIRKS
Ms Ho:I said I AM NOT A MOOSE!!!!!!!
But Ms Ho is one of the teachers that actually can teach well so nothing much.
Anyway after that cam Maths.
Just did another paper, like ..... I don't really know what to say about it.
Then English, well we watched Coach Carter, but still Nespien Peo, what is there to be said?
I mean just go see the poll on Bryan's blog. Even Mr Why can't come close and we all know how he can get.
Next MT, blah blah. After that had Malay Listening Comphre, the only part of Malay that i ever am comfortable and confident doing. Reached home around 4ish, straight after school, Which kinda sucked cause we ussually meet up on Fridays but couldn't today.-.-
Mmmm.
Nothing much happened the rest of the day just dozed off, planning to mugg into the wee hours of the night later, but like i said,
Later..
~AZH out~
umm well......
I was abducted?
I was kidnapped?
I was sick?
I became a politician?
Hmmm, i don't know but i'm rather fond of the last one.
But from what i've heard i didn't miss miss much.
Both Ms Ho and Mr Za...Za... ZA...
Im sorry i can't say it , im fasting-i can't swear.
Anyway they didn't come to school as well, which means that there was 4 free periods.
Typical, just typical Zameer Husref. The day i don't come to school, four free periods.
Yay.
Anyway i think i got alot of good work done at home.
Hopefully i'll get more done later.
